On the last blog I told you that
2 Chronicles reveals the secrets
...How your CHARACTER can make your own life story BETTER!

2 Chronicles 26 tells us:

Uzziah...
- Became A King of Judah at age 16 (vs 1-3)
- Did what was right in God's sight (vs 4)
- Sought God and prospered (vs 5)
- Enjoyed God's help (vs 7)
- And made fantastic achievements (vs 8-15)
Until he STOPPED...

Stopped WHAT?

...Until He stopped paying ATTENTION
To his CHARACTER!

"When he was strong, his heart was lifted up, to his destruction, for he transgressed against the LORD his God by entering the temple of the Lord to burn incense on the alter...Azariah the priest went in after him, and with him were eighty priests of the LORD - valiant men...He was warned, "... It is not for you, Uzziah, to burn incense to the LORD ... (vs 16-18)
But he refused.

Instead ...
"He became furious! "

And as a result
"Leprosy broke out on his forehead, before the priests in the house of the LORD, beside the incense alter. " (vs 19)
King Uzziah died a leper (vs 21)

BUT...Your own life story CAN BE BETTER!

Simply REMAIN fixed on good Character
No matter your achievements.

Truth is, A GOOD CHARACTER is pleasing to God...The Source of your Creative Abilities!

Food for Thought 26. GOD SEES THE WHOLE PICTURE Someone shared this with me about Joseph. Read Genesis Chapter 37 and from Chapters 39 to 50. Joseph had a dream. He told his brothers about it. They became jealous and sold him into slavery. Although Joseph became a slave in Potiphar's house, life started looking good again until Potiphar's wife demanded sex from him. Joseph refused, chose to be godly and ran away ... but Potiphar's wife framed him with attempted rape!  Suddenly life feels rough again, and Joseph wonders. " Oh God, why me? What are you doing to me? What about my dreams of greatness?" It seemed Joseph's brothers and Potiphar's wife had conquered Joseph. Despite all these troubles, however,God Himself had already seen the whole picture of Joseph's life from beginning to end. FEAR GOD Exodus 1:15 -17 "Then the King of Egypt spoke to the Hebrew midwives, of whom the name of one was Shiphrah and the name of the other Puah; and he said, "When you do the duties of a midwife for the Hebrew women, and see them on the birthstools, if it is a son, then you shall kill him; but if it is a daughter, then she shall live." But the midwives FEARED GOD and did not do as the King of Egypt commanded them but saved the male children alive. It is very important and rewarding to fear God. 'Fear God' means you put God First in your Thoughts and Actions. "Therefore God dealt well with the midwives and the people multiplied and grew very mighty. And so it was, because the midwives feared God, that He provided households for them.
