26. GOD SEES THE WHOLE PICTURE


Someone shared this with me about Joseph.

Read Genesis Chapter 37 and from Chapters 39 to 50.

Joseph had a dream.

He told his brothers about it.

They became jealous and sold him into slavery.

Although Joseph became a slave in Potiphar's house, life started looking good again until Potiphar's wife demanded sex from him. Joseph refused, chose to be godly and ran away ... but Potiphar's wife framed him with attempted rape! 

Suddenly life feels rough again, and Joseph wonders.

" Oh God, why me? What are you doing to me? What about my dreams of greatness?"

It seemed Joseph's brothers and Potiphar's wife had conquered Joseph.

Despite all these troubles, however,God Himself had already seen the whole picture of Joseph's life from beginning to end.

How do I know? 

Genesis 45:7 and 8 states, " And God sent me before you to preserve a posterity for you in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance.

" So now it was not you who sent me here, but God; and He made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house and a ruler through all the land of Egypt."

What are you going through? 

What is happening to you and your dreams?

Are certain people, maybe even family and trusted friends doing ungodly things to you?

You have a Father in heaven _ GOD! He sees the whole picture of your life, and is working all things out for your good.

Joseph conquered his enemies.

Joseph fulfilled purpose _ He saved his entire family, plus Egypt and surrounding nations from a terrible famine.

Joseph finished well.

Your case will not be different.

Your victory is assured in Jesus Christ, for Romans 8:28 declares, " And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose." 

Trust God.

He's working it out.

FEAR GOD Exodus 1:15 -17 "Then the King of Egypt spoke to the Hebrew midwives, of whom the name of one was Shiphrah and the name of the other Puah; and he said, "When you do the duties of a midwife for the Hebrew women, and see them on the birthstools, if it is a son, then you shall kill him; but if it is a daughter, then she shall live." But the midwives FEARED GOD and did not do as the King of Egypt commanded them but saved the male children alive. It is very important and rewarding to fear God. 'Fear God' means you put God First in your Thoughts and Actions. "Therefore God dealt well with the midwives and the people multiplied and grew very mighty. And so it was, because the midwives feared God, that He provided households for them.
